Suddenly cutting out caffeine for example is harder than gradually replacing it with herbal alternatives.

Potentially the most influential causes of disease are what we are consuming, our external environment and our emotional states.

All illness invites us to look more closely at our lives and reflect on the choices we are making.

In Chinese medicine the Lung channel and Spleen ( western pancreas) channel are one and the same and are called Taiyin. They manage fluids by transforming, transporting and dispersing them and are inextricably linked.

At the end of this video it explains how an inflamed Pancreas can cause inflammation in the lung resulting in fluid build up in the lower respiratory tract.
